Meet Our Doctor
Originally from St. Gabriel, La. (not far south of Baton Rouge), he earned his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University, where he met his wonderful wife Kayla. He completed his dental education at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans, La., and continued his training with both a fellowship in clinical research and residency in orthodontics at Jacksonville University.
Dr. Fairchild is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Southwestern Society of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association and Calcasieu Parish Dental Society. He is also in the process of applying to become a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Fairchild has also received recognition by being awarded Top Dentists in Acadiana for both 2013 & 2014.
Outside of the office, he enjoys time with his three children and loving wife. Jude also enjoys many hobbies. He spends his time with many outdoor activities. Fishing dominates these hobbies, both inshore and offshore. When he’s not fishing, hunting, kayaking, and camping keep him and his family occupied.
Jude also enjoys traveling in the States and abroad during his free time. He has also participated in dental mission trips. Dr. Fairchild is a life-long LSU and Saints fan and a fan of sports of all types. He loves supporting all local sports teams as well. Go Cowboys!

My name is Kayla and I am the business manager here at Lake Charles Orthodontics. I am the wife of Dr. Jude Fairchild. I have a great love for animals of all kinds! Dr. Perry straightened my teeth many years ago and I still have a beautiful smile! I love working at Lake Charles Orthodontics and meeting all of our patients. Hope to see you soon!

New patients often have a hard time smiling because they do not like the way their teeth look. It is truly fulfilling to see them smile and laugh openly and freely after having orthodontic treatment.
